DIABASE - holocrystalline fine-grained volcanic rock, chemically and on mineral structure close to basalt. Diabase is characterized by rather small contents silica (45-52 %).

Color of DIABASE : dark grey , light grey, green-black and the most original green with white vein , than that reminding on color scale malachite or a coil.

DIABASE is rather distributed in areas with flat sedimentary rocks, and also among volcanic lavas and tufe. Form superficially stiffened bodies which capacity changes from several see up to 200 m and more.
